What is S.E.E. of West Monroe AmeriCorps?

S.E.E. (Synergy, Education, & Environment) of West Monroe AmeriCorps is the local AmeriCorps program offered through the City of West Monroe. The goal of the program is to enhance the lives of individuals and community residents through education and service. S.E.E. AmeriCorps members are a team of people that serve their community in a variety of different opportunities.

What is AmeriCorps?

AmeriCorps is a National Service Program, where members agree to serve in exchange for a monthly living allowance and an educational award (scholarship) for college. There are AmeriCorps programs across the nation that focus on different areas of service: health, environment, education, etc.

Most of all, AmeriCorps is a challenging program that requires a lot of dedication to accomplish things beyond what a "part time job" would normally offer. It's an experience, unlike any other, to make a difference in a community, while earning money for college.
